The main disease of website text
Open a random services site. With 90% probability, the first screen reads: “Company N is a dynamically developing market leader offering comprehensive solutions.” This says nothing. The customer does not care that you are a leader — what matters is whether you will solve their problem, for how much and why you specifically. Good text talks about the customer and their benefit, not about your greatness.
The language of benefits, not features
A feature is what you have. A benefit is what it gives the customer. People buy benefits.
- “Our own fleet” → “We deliver on the day you order, not dependent on contractors”.
- “Working since 2008” → “16 years of experience — we won’t make beginner mistakes on your project”.
- “An individual approach” (an empty cliché) → specifics: “We’ll price the estimate for your square footage within the hour”.
A test: after each phrase, mentally ask “and what’s in it for me?”. If there is no answer, it is about you, not the customer.
The first screen decides
You have 5 seconds for a person to understand whether they landed in the right place. The first screen must make it clear: what you offer, to whom and why to stay. The offer formula is “what + for whom + benefit + action”:
“Custom kitchens in Kazan in 30 days. Measurement, design project and installments — free. Get a quote →”
Compare it with “Manufacture of cabinet furniture to custom projects”. The first grabs you, the second is background noise. This is the foundation of conversion.
A structure people finish
No one reads a wall of text — they scan it. Help the eye:
- short paragraphs of 2–4 lines;
- subheadings whose meaning is clear without reading;
- lists instead of comma-separated enumerations;
- highlighting the key points;
- numbers and facts instead of judgments (“in 30 days”, not “fast”).
Handling objections
While the customer reads, their head is full of “what if it’s expensive”, “what if they miss the deadline”, “what if the quality is poor”. Good text answers these fears in advance: a guarantee in numbers, work stages, reviews, case studies, process photos. It is best to gather objections from customer interviews — they will tell you what bothered them.
The call to action
Text without a clear “what to do next” is a dead end. A “Submit” button is weaker than “Get a quote”, “Book a measurement”, “Grab the checklist”. The call is specific, with a clear benefit and no risk for the customer. And do not hide it: one clear action beats five to choose from.
About AI and text
Neural networks write drafts in minutes, but publishing them without editing is a road to faceless text recognizable from the first line. The workable scheme we discussed in the breakdown of neural networks for business: AI provides the structure and a draft, a human adds facts, numbers, your case studies and living language.

Conclusion
Sales copy is not about “writing beautifully” but honestly and specifically answering: what you offer, to whom, for how much and why you can be trusted. The language of benefits, a strong first screen, a scannable structure, objections handled, a clear call to action. We will write text that brings in leads — let’s discuss the task.
